Cape Town City midfielder Ayanda Patosi is set for another stint in the Middle East, this time joining an United Arab Emirates-based club.
The Bafana player spent the second half of the 2018/19 season on loan at Iranian side Esteghlal FC, where he made 13 appearances, scoring four goals.
He has been shipped off on loan once more, with the Mother City outfit confirming that he will spend a year away at Baniyas Club.
“Cape Town City and Baniyas Club have reached an agreement for midfielder Ayanda Patosi,” the club announced on Twitter.
“The deal will see Ayanda spend one year on loan in the UAE Pro League, with an option to buy at a further fixed amount.”

Patosi was also unveiled by his new club in its own Twitter account.
Patosi joined Cape Town City at the start of the 2017/18 campaign after he was released by Belgian top flight outfit Lokeren FC towards the end of the previous season.
At the Citizens he made 45 appearances in all competitions, finishing the net 11 times and providing nine assists.
The 26-year-old has also earned 12 international caps for Bafana Bafana, scoring three times.
However, he is yet to don the national team jersey since making a substitute appearance against Mozambique in a friendly match in November 2016.
Meanwhile Cape Town City also extended the contract of former South Africa youth international Thato Mokeke, who is set to remain at the club until June 2022.
The 29-year-old was signed from Chippa United midway through the previous season, and made 14 appearances at his new club.
The Citizens have also been active in the transfer market, most notably bringing in utility player Abbubaker Mobara from Orlando Pirates.
The club has also signed striker Tashreeq Morris from city rivals Ajax Cape Town.
Departures include forward Judas Moseamedi, who signed a permanent deal with Maritzburg United, having spent the latter half of the previous campaign on loan at the KwaZulu-Natal outfit.
City begin their 2019/20 PSL campaign away tofrom Baroka on Saturday, 4 August.
