A reliable man between the sticks is a necessity for any club looking to challenge for PSL dominance and here we look at the keepers and teams with the most clean sheets.

Kaizer Chiefs season went completely off the boil after the loss of their inspirational goalie and skipper Itumeleng Khune, who had kept six clean sheets in thirteen matches before injury cut his season short.

Unsurprisingly Sundowns are at the head of the queue as a team but with duties largely split between Denis Onyango and Kennedy Mweene the team outshined its individual parts.

Supersport United’s Ronwen Williams picks up the golden glove after keeping 12 clean sheets. Williams played all 30 of Supersport’s league matches this season.

Bloem Celtic’s Patrick Tignyemb and Amazulu’s Siyabonga Mbatha played a big part in both club’s avoiding the relegation battle this season.

Current Bafana Bafana first choice stopper Darren Keet is back in fourth having been unbeatable ten times in 27 appearances in the 2018/19 PSL season.

A fourteenth clean sheet for Sundowns helped them clinch the title with a 1-0 win over Free State Stars of the final day. Onyango also had a great game in goal.
