Framed as a battle between QBs Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes, the 55th Super Bowl will be played behind closed doors but everyone involved will be mindful of the massive audience watching from around the United States and across the world.

Mahomes picked up where he left off last season and has held off on having surgery on an injured toe until after the big game. While Mahomes is both the present and the future of the NFL his opposite number is an icon.

Brady, now 43-years-old, has rolled back the years to lead the Buccaneers to just their second Conference Championship.

Much has been made of the leaders of the offence, but Super Bowls are very often decided by the performance of the defensive units, here it is the Bucs who might hold the edge with their veteran pass-rushers, athletic LBs and big corners. The Chiefs only just held off a fightback the last time they visited Tampa and found themselves overwhelmed by the Bucs aggressive defence.

It has been a season like no other and promises to be a very different Super Bowl Sunday experience as a whole. Even without fans this is an event not to be missed.

The famous Super Bowl Half Time show will feature the Weeknd with producers promising a cinematic experience for viewers at home.
