Jagshemash! The new Borat film has officially been released on Friday, and already, it’s promising to generate as much controversy as its 2007 predecessor. Sacha Baron Cohen’s outlandish caricature returns to the big screen, in a last-ditch bid to save this car-crash year. And, based on this Rudy Giuliani prank, we reckon he’s pulled it off…
Sacha Baron Cohen is at it again…
Giuliani, the one-time mayor of New York and current lawyer for Donald Trump, has cemented his public profile as one of the president’s most avid supporters. However, he was quite literally caught with his pants down on this occasion.
In what has been branded ‘the most outrageous moment’ of the new Borat film, we are introduced to the titular character’s daughter, Tutar. She is posing as a reported for a far-right news outlet, and secures an audience with Giuliani. However, when she instructs the former politician to remove his mic, things get very, very weird…

Rudy Giuliani responds to Borat prank
Rudy Giuliani starts caressing Tutar, as the ‘interview’ moves into the bedroom. Trump’s leading advocate can then be seen unbuttoning his trousers and putting his hand down his pants. As the scene reaches maximum cringe, Borat bursts in, screaming and shouting at Giuliani – informing him that his daughter ‘is only 15’ and ‘too old for him’.
Of course, Giuliani has denied any wrongdoing. He says that the video was doctored, and he was merely ‘tucking in his shirt’. Well, by the looks of things, we can assume that Rudy is a guy who really, really enjoys tucking his shirt in…
“The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment. At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar. This is an effort to blunt my relentless exposure of the criminality and depravity of Joe Biden.”
