Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane still seems to be grappling with answering for the renovation of his house with government funds.
He maintains that the allegations are propelled by his detractors.
It’s alleged that the Mbizana Local Municipality paid R450 000 towards the renovations of his house.
Mabuyane says the renovations were an arrangement between him and African National Congress (ANC) provincial Treasurer Babalo Madikize, before he assumed the Public Works Department MEC position.
In outlining plans for the province, Mabuyane says his top priority is ensuring that services are delivered to the people of the Eastern Cape.
