H+K Strategies managed Airtel’s simultaneous brand launch across 16 markets in Africa, successfully delivering on Airtel’s brand promise of uniting Africa’s diverse and varied regions. Over 700 actual journalists and 6,000 key opinion leaders and stakeholders across the continent gained an in-depth exposure to the brand at multiple stakeholder events, including press briefings.
The launch plan helped increase Airtel brand’s top of mind awareness t0 in diverse markets and geographies in a very short space of time following Airtel’s entry into the African market. The launch campaign won the Best Event campaign at the 2011 PRSK Excellence Awards.
