Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK) Awards for Excellence
SEACOM engaged Hill+Knowlton Strategies to launch the company in Kenya and Uganda, formulate as well as implement a public relations and communications campaign, including but not limited to media and stakeholder relations, event management and launch. The primary focus was Kenya with limited activities in East Africa. At the beginning of the campaign there was zero capacity sold or taken up by customers. By the end of the campaign (1st November 2009) 34.21 Gbps had been sold, successfully positioning as the dominant player in the fibre optic technology.
