South African sculptor Dylan Lewis has taken his rightful place on the international art stage. He is one of the only living artists to have had a solo exhibition at Christies in London. Aiming for the market where the brand name is found on the inside of the handbag, the task set was to profile Lewis to the local market whilst retaining his aura of exclusivity.
The agency successfully introduced the artist to South African high net wealth individuals for more than four years. Our work included negotiating partnerships with a local investment bank to have their top art-loving clients invited to the reclusive artist’s private studio. Another tactic to boost sales was to obtain permission to have his work installed in some of South Africa’s top boardrooms.
